中欧数字协会主席：未来的硅谷在中国 期待中欧合作 ChinaEU President: Future Silicon Valley is in China, Looking forward to China-EU cooperation

央视网消息：中欧数字协会主席鲁乙己近日在接受央视记者采访时也表示，中国将成为5G时代的全球领跑者，中欧之间应该加大相关领域的合作，而中国两会将为推进这种合作提供政策导向。

CCTV.com: CCTV interviewed recently Luigi Gambardella, President of ChinaEU. He said that China will become the global leader in 5G, therefore China and Europe should deepen cooperation in 5G related sectors. The upcoming Two Session will provide policy guidance to boost such collaboration.

中欧数字协会主席 鲁乙己：在中国每天有13000家高科技企业成立，绝大部分企业都是在科技领域。我们相信中国在这方面的潜力巨大，过去和现在，我们的关注点都在硅谷，我们相信硅谷的未来在于中国。因此欧洲必须和中国紧密合作，我们希望看到中欧之间有更多的年轻人的合作，分享彼此的知识，一起创建合作企业。

Luigi Gambardella, President of ChinaEU: in China, every single day there are 13,000 new startups, and many of these are in the field of technology. So we believe that there is a huge potentiality. If in the past and present we always look at Silicon Valley, we believe that the Silicon Valley of the future is in China. Therefore Europe should be prepared to work much more closer with China. We would like to see more exchange of younger people working together in Europe and China, sharing knowledge, and creating new companies together.

中欧数字协会成立于两年前，协会确定了在5G、具体数字项目投资、互联网等领域的合作规划，为中欧经济领域的对话、互信和商业合作牵线搭桥。

ChinaEU was established two years ago with the mission of intensifying China-EU cooperation in 5G and Internet. By exploring concrete digital projects and investments, it aims to boost exchange, mutual trust and business cooperation between the two sides in digital economy.

鲁乙己自豪地告诉记者，中欧数字协会是最早提出将欧盟“容克计划”与中国“一带一路”倡议对接的机构之一。这两个倡议都包含了促进基础设施建设和发展现代服务业的基本内容，完全可以互补与对接。

Luigi Gambardella told CCTV proudly that ChinaEU was among the very first organizations advocating synergy between EU’s Juncker Plan and China’s Belt and Road Initiative. Since both proposals involves basic contents regarding facilitating infrastructure construction as well as developing modern service industry, they are perfectly complementary for each other and thus can be synergized.

中欧数字协会主席 鲁乙己：“一带一路”提议非常好。因为，首先这是一个梦想，而且必然会实现。有时候有人问我中国和欧洲之间的区别，我经常会说，我们欧洲人已经不再有梦想，而中国却很幸运，仍然能提出这样的梦想。有一个梦想和想象是非常重要的。第二点更迷人的是因为“一带一路”是一个境外投资计划，为了连接中欧促进双方合作的计划。

Luigi Gambardella, President of ChinaEU: One Belt One Road is fantastic. Because first of all, it is a dream, which will become a reality. Sometimes when people ask me, what are the differences between European and Chinese, I always say: “We European, we don’t dream anymore. The Chinese, fortunately are lucky, because they continue to dream.” It is crucial to have a dream and a vision. Secondly, it’s really fascinating because it’s an investment, which is abroad, in order to link and facilitate the connection between Europe and China.

鲁乙己表示，他很关注中国两会，因为很多议题将涉及互联网经济，这些将为欧中企业携手合作，提供政策导向。

Luigi Gambardella said the reason that he watches closely to the Chinese Two Session is because there will be many discussions on Internet economy, which will provide policy orientation for the future cooperation between Chinese and European enterprises.

中欧数字协会主席 鲁乙己：两会非常重要，因为借助两会的成果，我们能够了解到中国未来的政策计划。两会非常非常重要，对我们来说我更关心两个方面：一个是“中国制造2025”和“互联网＋”，我觉得现在我们面临着一场新的（工业）革命，这场（工业）革命非常重要，而且和过去的并不一样。到目前为止，我们谈的都是互联网，但是“互联网＋”是工业化的互联网，我觉得绿色经济是未来经济的重要支柱，通过绿色经济，我们能够创造更多的投资，而且我们可以获得像之前高科技给我们带来的改变那样，为城市居民带来更好的生活。

Luigi Gambardella, President of ChinaEU: the meeting is very important. Because according to the result of this annual meeting, we will understand what kind of future policy China is going to have. So it is an essential moment. In particular for us there are two key areas, two hot topics– “Made in China 2025” and “Internet Plus”. I think we are at the beginning of a new revolution, which will be something quite significant, more than we saw in the past. Until now we have discussed about Internet. But “Internet Plus” is industrial Internet. I think green economy is another pillar of our future. Thanks to green economy we can create new investment, and we can have the similar affects we were discussing before about what technology can give, which is better life to the citizens.
